In this workshop, you will combine the expressiveness of watercolour washes with the bold textures of linocut printing to create striking, layered artwork. Perfect for beginners and those looking to experiment with mixed media, this class will guide you through crafting vivid watercolour backgrounds before pressing linocut prints on top, bringing depth and dimension to your designs.

What to expect:

Participants will learn techniques for creating dynamic watercolour effects and linocut design and carving methods.

Participants will leave with a hand-carved stamp and up to three (3) completed pieces.

All supplies will be provided: watercolour paints, brushes, watercolour paper, linoleum blocks, carving tools, and inks.

Notes:

Although all supplies will be provided, students are welcome to bring their own watercolour supplies if students have preferences on supplies that are used
